Oprah Will Host After Show W/ Michael Jackson’s Alleged Sexual Abuse Victims
Oprah Winfrey will be the host of an after show Q&A for HBO’s “Leaving Neverland” documentary. “After Neverland” will premiere simultaneously on HBO and Winfrey’s network OWN Monday (Mar. 4) evening, following the part two airing of the “Leaving Neverland” docu.

Winfrey will have a chance to talk with stars of the docu, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, along with the director Dan Reed in front of an audience of sexual abuse survivors.
“Leaving Neverland” tells the story of Robson and Safechuck being sexually abused by Michael Jackson within Neverland. Viewers will see and hear stories from the alleged survivors, their parents, siblings, and wives. Jackson’s estate recently filed a $100 million lawsuit against the premium cable network, claiming the stories told in the documentary are a part of a “character assassination.”

The estate is arguing HBO violated a non-disparagement clause; which restricts individuals from taking any action that negatively impacts an organization, its reputation, products, services, management or employees. According to the suit, in 1992, when HBO agreed to air Michael Jackson in Concert in Bucharest: The Dangerous Tour, the contract entered contained a strict non-disparagement agreement.
Part one of “Leaving Neverland” will premiere on HBO on Mar. 3.
