Beyonce Releases ‘Lemonade’ On Spotify & Apple Music 3 Years After Releasing Album + Launches the #BeforeILetGoChallenge
Beyonce’s hit album, Lemonade, is officially available on multiple streaming platforms.
After three years to the day after she released the project (April 23, 2016), it has finally been made available on Apple Music and Spotify.
When it was initially released, it was only on Tidal, the Jay-Z-owned streaming service that has hosted a number of exclusive releases for the couple.
The couple’s 2018 album “Everything Is Love,” was released as a Tidal exclusive and later released on other streaming services two days later. However, “Lemonade” remained on Tidal since its 2016 release.
Additionally, the version of the album streaming on Spotify and Apple Music includes a never-before-heard demo version of the “Lemonade” track “Sorry.”
In other Beyonce news, the singer has released a new dance challenge, following the release of “Homecoming,” her Coachella 2018 live album that accompanied the release of the Netflix documentary. On Monday, she announced the #BeforeILetGoChallenge, based off of her Frankie Beverly and Maze cover of “Before I Let Go”. She promoted it on her Instagram Story, sharing dozens of video submissions from fans.
