She was arrested for allegedly punching 29-year-old rapper Brittney Taylor. Both Remy and Brittney both star on Love & Hip Hop: NY.
Remy’s bail was reportedly set at $1,500. The judge has issued a 8 p.m. curfew for Remy and the judge has also issued a protective order preventing her from having any contact from Brittney.
Remy’s attorney maintains her innocence, claiming that all of the accusations made by Brittney are not true. The attorney says that at the time of the alleged attack, there’s proof that Remy was at home. Meanwhile, Brittney’s attorney released the following statement:
“This arrest demonstrates how serious this matter is, it is real life and not reality TV entertainment. The victim Brittney Taylor has confidence in our system of justice and will continue to fully cooperate with the authorities”.
Remy is set to report to court later this month.
