Offset Present At Atlanta Recording Studio During Drive-By Shooting, Rapper Wasn’t Shot
New reports are surfacing detailing that Migos rapper Offset was at the scene of a drive-by shooting at a local Atlanta recording studio on Wednesday evening, May 8th. Luckily, he was not shot or harmed in any way during the shooting.
According to reports, local Atlanta authorities have confirmed that a series of shots rang out in front of the Crossover Entertainment Group music studio, where rapper Offset was working. Witnesses at the scene claim that Offset was inside the studio recording when the shots were fired into the building. However, by the time authorities arrived, Offset had already left the studio.

One specific witness speculates that Offset was actually the intended target of the shooting, although that suspicion hasn’t been confirmed by police. At press time, police have not spoken to Offset regarding the shooting, but are expected to soon.
Atlanta police say that the shooting occurred just after 9PM by a group of passengers in a car driving by the outside of the studio. The shots fired reportedly damaged three vehicles, the exterior of the recording studio and the window of a nearby apartment. There were also reports that someone allegedly got shot in the leg, but officers have not been able to locate a victim.
The APD released a statement of the shooting:
“On May 8, 2019 at around 9:05 p.m. Atlanta Police responded to 1310 Ellsworth Industrial Pkwy in reference to a call of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who advised that while he and others were at the location, occupants of a dark SUV started to shoot towards the building. The shooting resulted in damage to three vehicles, the building and the window of an apartment in the area. It was initially reported that someone was shot in the leg, but officers were unable to locate a gunshot victim. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding of the shooting. The investigation continues.”

Inside sources claim that the shooting happened just after Offset stepped outside for a little while. Once the shooting began, those inside reportedly ran into another room for protection until the shots stopped. There was also grainy surveillance footage released of the drive-by that shows the car in question driving past the studio as someone hangs out the window firing shots.

Offset and his wife, Cardi B, have been active on social media, but have yet to comment.
