Tyga Cancels Sweden Show Over A$AP Rocky’s Arrest
Following the arrest of rapper, A$AP Rocky in Sweden, a number of notable musicians including ASAP Ferg, and Joe Budden have come forward in support of Rocky’s release. On Thursday, Tyga took to Instagram to announced that he will no longer play a show in Sweden he had scheduled for later this month.
“I have decided to cancel my show,” he wrote on his Instagram story. I will not be performing. FREE ASAP ROCKY.”

As previously reported, the Harlem rapper was arrested following a fight he had in the street with an alleged aggressive fan who followed him for four blocks and assaulted his security with headphones.
According to reports, sources close to the rapper allege that he’s being held in “inhumane living conditions” in the Swedish prison. While being held for two weeks, A$AP Rocky (real name, Rakim Mayers) is allegedly sleeping on a yoga mat with no blankets, in a cell next to a “severely mentally ill” prisoner who hurls feces across the room – feces that aren’t cleaned up. When speaking about the lack of clean water and adequate food, the source described A$AP Mob leader’s facility:
“[It is] filthy and disease ridden.”

After T.I., Tyler the Creator, and Schoolboy Q vowed to boycott Sweden due to Rocky’s unjust arrest, a petition was started by the rapper’s camp. The petition details that an appeal was filed earlier in the week for his release, which was denied keeping him detained for the next two weeks.
