A$AP Rocky – Sweden Could Owe Him Millions If He’s Found Not Guilty

Sweden could be racking up a tab the longer A$AP Rocky stays in jail.  If found not guilty, it’s possible the country will owe him millions.

Reportedly, there’s a law there that if someone faces a charge for a crime and they are found not guilty, Sweden could be ordered to reimburse the accused of the money they lost while behind bars.

For A$AP Rocky, that would be a lot.

He’s been in jail for three weeks and while he hasn’t been charged yet, rumor has it officials are gearing up to charge him for aggravated assault on Thursday. Since his bail was already denied as he’s considered a flight risk, it’s also possible that he will have to stay in jail during his trial. If this is the case, he’ll miss tons of scheduled concert dates.

He’s already been forced to back out of 12 shows during his time in jail and is scheduled for seven more concerts in September. This could really add up for him considering at one point, he was getting between $80,000 and $120,000 for his shows. It’s alleged that he now gets well into the six figures per show.

If he’s found not guilty, Sweden could owe him roughly $2 million.

A$AP Rocky was arrested after video footage showed him getting into a fight with a man. He posted what happened before that on his Instagram page, showing that the guy and a friend were following A$AP Rocky and his friends, despite the rapper and his entourage telling them to go the other way.

“SO A FEW DRUG ADDICTS ARE NOT MY FANS , WE DONT KNOW THESE GUYS AND WE DIDNT WANT TROUBLE , THEY FOLLOWED US FOR 4 BLOCKS , AND THEY WERE SLAPPING GIRLS BUTTS WHO PASSED , GIVE ME A BREAK”

Meanwhile, the guy has not been charged as officials said he was acting in self-defense during the fight.
