Wendy Williams “Knew A Lot Of Things For Years” About Estranged Husband, Waited To Divorce Him Because Of Her Son: He Was At Home & It Wasn’t Fair To Him
Wendy Williams is sharing even more insight about her marriage to her estranged husband, Kevin Hunter.
In April, Wendy filed for divorce after his rumored long-term affair with a 33-year-old woman named Sharina Hudson. The pair were married for 22 years and have a son, Kevin Jr, in college.
During an interview with Andy Cohen, Wendy addressed just how emotional she was dealing with reports about Kevin allegedly having an affair and impregnating another woman. She explained,
Shoutout to my makeup artist who covered my puffy eyes … I’d come in and my eyes would be puffy from crying…. I would do the show.
She also admitted that at some point, she knew she’d have to address the rumors publicly.
I knew that I would but I had to get my ducks in a row.” She also revealed that she “knew a lot of things for years.
Wendy handled the situation delicately because of their son.
“My son was at home, and it wasn’t fair to him. I wasn’t going to grab his hand and flee the scene and move zip codes — he has to move high schools, and stuff like that.
She added,
He was just making friends. So, now he’s away in college. And the person that I am now, is very single because my son’s not living with me. He goes to school in Miami.”
When asked if she would have knew about Kevin’s “double life” if the media hadn’t reported it she responded,
I would have known anyway. I have my own way of knowing these things.
Wendy also addresses claims that she’s gone Hollywood, after making amends with the Kardashian family.
