Rosario Dawson Salutes ‘Working Mothers’ After Being Called Out For Missing Boyfriend Cory Booker’s Campaign Event
Rosario Dawson had a response after many noticed she was MIA at boyfriend Cory Booker’s presidential campaign event. Booker, who is running for President, hosted an event at a nightclub in New York City Monday. But there was chatter about Dawson not being there. She also didn’t make it to the first two Presidential debates. But Dawson had a response for that. She posted a screenshot between her and Booker where he told her,
“you made it”
She added the caption,
“I made it! To all the working mothers out there. Keep shining!”
Dawson, who is an actress, is also a mom to Lola Dawson, who she adopted when Lola was 11 back in 2014.
And Booker could be a part of their family soon. When it was mentioned he could be the first single U.S. President in quite a while, Booker said,
“The swearing in isn’t until the 21st of January 2021. You never know what will happen between now and then.”
It’s not clear how long they’ve been dating, but Booker confirmed the news on Ellen in March.
“As our relationship grows, it’s difficult. But she is a deeply soulful person and has taught me a lot of lessons about love already and sometimes you show the greatest strength when you’re vulnerable. She really has this nurturing spirit that’s made me more courageous, not just in the love I project and want to see in our country, but I think in our own personal relationships to love more fearlessly. I’m very, very blessed to be with somebody who makes me a better person.”
