It’s no secret Teddy Riley is legendary status. And now he has another major recognition under his belt. The singer and mega-producer was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Friday. His marks the 2,670th star on the popular path.

Riley has certainly made his mark in the music industry over the years. He kicked off his career in the 80s. He’s known for the popular New Jack Swing era that started in 1987. It featured song like “Teddy’s Jam,” from the group Guy, which Riley also created in 1987 with members Aaron Hall and Timmy Gatling. Damien Hall later joined the group.
After Guy went their separate ways in 1991, Riley helped form Grammy-Award winning group Blackstreet.
Riley has also produced and written knock-out hits for artists like Michael Jackson, Keith Sweat, Future, Mary J. Blige, Tyga, Bobby Brown, Britney Spears, Kirk Franklin, Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey, and Mario just to name a few.
