Jennifer Lopez Reacts To Rumors She’s Performing At Super Bowl
Jennifer Lopez Plays Coy About Performing At The Super Bowl ‘I Can’t Say I Wouldn’t Love It’
Will Jennifer Lopez be the next Super Bowl performer?
The singer, actress, and dancer didn’t deny or confirm that she’ll hit the stage for the highly coveted show in Miami on February 2, 2020.
When asked if she was performing, she laughed before stating,
“I don’t know. I don’t know.”
In a separate interview, Lopez adamantly said she’s really not sure what’s going on, at least right now. But she’s also not against being the next performer.
“I don’t know. Everybody’s asking me. They’re starting to think I’m telling people things. I don’t know anything yet. In theory yes, it would be [great]. It’s something we’ve talked about for many years. It would be nice. I can’t say I wouldn’t love it.”
The questions come after rumors swirled that Lopez was in talks of headlining the show. An insider said Wednesday (Sept. 11),
“Jennifer and the NFL have been in talks for a while, but there are many factors that go into the deal before it’s official. Jennifer has been saying for a while she wants to perform at the halftime show and it looks like her dream may come true.”
They added,
“Jennifer has had an incredible career that spans over decades and this platform would give her the biggest stage ever to showcase it. Jennifer has already worked with the NFL this year promoting the season, so things are looking good.”
Past performers include Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, and Prince.
