“The Last Dance” Docu Focuses On Bulls + Features Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Barack Obama, Kobe Bryant & Nas [Trailer]

Christmas came earlier for basketball fanatics as ESPN has officially released a first look into a basketball iconic timeline for their upcoming 10-part series about the Chicago Bulls dynasty in the 1990s. The series, “The Last Dance,’ will feature a host of legendary faces including the 44th President, Barack Obama, Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, former Bulls star Scottie Pippen and more.

The key figures from the team, Michael Jordan, Pippen, and Dennis Rodman, are also included in the new trailer, which is set for a June 26, 2020 release. The film will highlight the back story of the domination of the Bulls era as Jordan lead Chicago’s last championship season in 1998.

A camera crew was given exclusive access to the Bulls during one of their most notable seasons. The documentary is under the direction of Jason Hehir with producer Mike Tollin. Hehir was the director on The ’85 Bears 30 for 30 documentary and the Andre the Giant documentary by HBO.

NBA superstar, LeBron James took to his Instagram stories to share his excitement for the upcoming 10-part series. He writes,

”CAN’T WAIT!!! GONE BE [FIRE]!!! WHAT A TIME IT WAS.”
