Lauren London Celebrates Nipsey Hussle’s Certified Plaques At Grammy Event

Just ahead of the 2020 Grammy award show on Sunday, actress Lauren London celebrated nominated late rapper, Nipsey Hussle’s newly certified plaques at Atlantic Studios over the weekend. On Saturday (Jan. 25th), London shared an image of Nipsey’s 6 million certified sales plaque.

Several took to London’s comments in support of this accomplishment.

London was joined by her best friend Shanae and Nipsey’s artist, BH. In addition, the later rapper’s grandmother also joined in celebration of Nipsey’s 6 million sales.

As previously reported, earlier this month (Jan. 8th), Nipsey earned 10 new RIAA certifications including ‘Victory Lap,’ and his Roddy Ricch-assisted “Racks in the Middle” which have both gone platinum. According to reports, the late rapper averaged about 2 million streams prior to his death, but after his murder back in March of 2019, he earned 10 million streams and a whopping 57 million that following day.

The 2020 Grammy Awards will also honor the late rapper with a tribute performance featuring DJ Khaled, YG, Roddy Ricch, and more.
