Brother Of Drew Carey’s Slain Ex-Fiancee Demands An Apology From Wendy Williams
Wendy Williams is catching heat for her comments on the shocking death of Drew Carey‘s ex-fiancee, sex therapist Dr. Amie Harwick. As exclusively reported to Fox News, Amie’s brother, Chris Harwick, is demanding an apology from the talk show diva. On Monday’s show, Wendy seemingly made light of Dr. Amie Harwick’s death, using Drew Carey’s “Price Is Right Catchphrase” while reporting the story:

Amie’s brother, Chris, commented:
“Domestic violence is something no one should be joking about. This is a difficult time for my family and for Wendy Williams to make light of this tragedy is very upsetting to us and extremely distasteful.”
He continued:
“My sister worked tirelessly for domestic violence victims and women’s rights. Wendy Williams should apologize publicly to my family for her comment.”
According to reports, Amie’s abusive ex-boyfriend, Gareth Pursehouse, had recently been release from jail. Just weeks before her fatal fall from a third-story balcony, Amie’s restraining order against Gareth had expired. Police had responded to screaming inside Dr. Amie Harwick’s home when she was found unresponsive.
theJasmineBRAND sends condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Amie Harwick.
