Romeo Miller On Criticism That His Bond W/ His Family Is Holding Him Back: Ain’t Nobody Turning Me On My Parents
Romeo Miller has always been one to stan for his family. And his latest Instagram post is no different.
The rapper, actor and reality star took to the social media app to defend his family amid criticism that his closeness with dad, rapper Master P, and his family is slowing down his career.
He shared a quote that reads,
“A family doesn’t have to be perfect; it just needs to be united.”

He added the caption,
“You’ll be surprised how many companies, business partners, and even people in the industry tries to tell me my togetherness and bond with my father and (family) is a weakness to my own greatness… Boy the devil is a liar hahaha. Better wake up!”
He continued,
“They know what we are capable of if we stick together. Do you? Through thick or thin, ain’t nobody turning me on my parents (some s*** you just gotta take tot he grave). No family is perfect, but we must stay united through the ways of this wicked world. #BlackExcellence”
He also appreciated the positivity on his Instagram page with a shout out to theJasmineBRAND.
“Good to know that there are still outlets that appreciate the positive. Salute @thejasminebrand. Balance”

He also showed love to his dad a few times this year.

The closeness of their family was also on display on WeTV’s “Growing Up Hip Hop“, where Romeo Miller served as an executive producer.
