Megan Thee Stallion Called Out By Jailed Kodack Black: I Created “Drive The Boat!”

Kodak Black Calls Out Megan Thee Stallion Over “Drive The Boat” Credit
Jailed rapper Kodak Black seemingly has a bone to pick with Houston rapper, Megan Thee Stallion. Kodak Black(real name Bill K. Kapri), 22, took an aim at Megan Thee Stallion with claims that he originated the “Drive the boat phrase that she frequently uses.

The incarcerated rapper managed to hop on Instagram on Tuesday (March 17), and shared a clip of Megan Thee Stallion’s recent appearance on ABC’s“Strahan, Sara & KeKe.”
During Megan’s sit down with the popular afternoon talk show, she was questioned by Michael Strahan and Sara Haines, on who originated the slogan.
“Which Hip Hop star created the catchphrase ‘Drive the Boat,’ and what does it mean?”

Michael Strahan responded,
“I think Megan did it.”
“‘Drive the Boat’—I can’t say it because it’s not able to be consumed on daytime television.”
Co-host KeKe Palmer then says,
“You got it right. Ding ding ding … Michael, you’re right. It’s about consumption and [Megan’s] the originator of it.”
However, Kodak Black disagreed and appeared to be looking for his credit. In fact, he wrote in the caption of the clip he posted that he wanted to go off on Megan but said he decided to keep it classy instead.

Still, Megan has made a huge success from the drinking phrase, including the reference in her hit 2019 single “Hot Girl Summer” featuring Nicki Minaj.
Kodak did originally say “drive the boat” over a year ago in Feb of 2019 on an IG Live.
