Meek Mill Reveals He Suffered Flu Like Symptoms In December Amid Coronavirus: A Doctor Never Told Me What It Was

Rapper Meek Mill (real name Robert Williams), 32, is opening up about a past virus he contracted back in December of 2019 amid the recent pandemic virus, COVID-19 (a.k.a. Coronavirus), that has taken the lives of thousands around the world.

On Tuesday (March 24th), the Philadelphia rapper took to Twitter to reveal he was “extremely sick,” with alleged flu like symptoms that he compared to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. Meek wrote,

“I was extremely sick in December around Christmas time with flu like symptoms… everyday I said to myself a older person cannot survive this!”

He continues, adding he lost a large amount of weight while being sick and nothing could be done.

“I lost like 15 pounds and could barely move! I never been that sick.. a doctor never told me what it was.”

Since mid-March, the coronavirus has taken the lives of nearly 20,000 globally and more than 600 in the United States, according to reports. A list of celebs have recently tested positive for the virus including Andy Cohen, Idris Elba, and Slim Thug

Although Meek never confirmed what illness he suffered back in December, there have been more than 100,000 coronavirus cases, according to the CDC.

“People where I’m from don’t have the money to run out and stock the fridge and stay in….”

Meek also addresses alludes to disadvantaged people feeling at times disconnected to what they see on the news.

“When you from the #otherside you could literally watch the news and feel like they not even talking to you and your family so your mind frame will forever be with the streets!”
