Wayne Brady Is In Quarantine With His Daughter, Ex-Wife & Her Boyfriend: Moments Like This Bring You Closer
Wayne Brady might have one of the most interesting self-isolation environments in Hollywood.
The “Let’s Make A Deal” star is spending quarantine with his 17-year-old daughter, Mailie, his ex-wife Mandie Taketa, and his ex-wife’s boyfriend.
He explained their history on Access At Home and said,
“My ex-wife Mandy and I, we have a different and a very special situation than a lot of people that co-parent… For the entire duration of [Malie’s] life, we have co-parented as best friends.”
He continued,
“We’ve also lived like seven minutes away from each at the most. Right now, we live virtually next door to each other. So our quarantine is a little different. We quarantine between both of our homes…We both share this land and this space. Mandy, her boyfriend Jason, my daughter Mailie, we are a family, we want this nuclear family… Family is everything to me so moments like this bring you closer.”
As for what they’re doing, Wayne Brady said they’re definitely keeping busy.
“We’ve been doing TikToks, we’ve been playing board games, spades, hearts, we’ve been in my studio writing songs together and freestyling, walking the dogs up the canyon, up the street. It’s an amazing time for family because it’s kind of like a timeout.”
It looks like they’re certainly one big happy family.
