Ashanti Is Open To Battling Keyshia Cole: If They Want To See It, I Ain’t Mad At It!
One of the few good things to come out of many people being stuck at home due to the coronavirus pandemic is the creation of the Instagram live music battle series Verzuz, which was created by rap artists and music producers Swizz Beatz and Timbaland. Verzuz sets up music artist to go head to head as they play their best hits. During a conversation with R&B artist Ashanti, rapper Fat Joe (real name Joseph Cartagena), brought up the idea of Ashanti battling her past collaborator Keyshia Cole. Ashanti responed:
“If they want to see it, I ain’t mad.”
Fat Joe responded with excitement explaining why he would never do it:
“I love it, like me personally I wouldn’t do it cause I’m a bad loser and an even worst winner.”

Ashanti and Keyshia Cole collaborated on the come “Woman to Woman” on Keyshia Cole’s 2012 album of the same title.
