LL Cool J Faces Backlash After Tweeting “Imagine How People Raising Biracial Children Feel Right Now!”

LL Cool J Faces Backlash Over Comment: Imagine How People Raising Biracial Children Feel Right Now!
LL Cool J’s attempt to shed light on those raising biracial children in the heat of the current racial climate only led to backlash on social media.
The rapper tweeted Saturday (May 30th),
“Imagine how people raising bi racial children feel right now!!!!!! This is crazy!!!!!!”

He then doubled down on his tweet and vowed to address it on Instagram live, tagging Amanda Seales, who is very vocal in racial relations and brutality against the African-American community.

Interestingly enough, she replied to his comment and seemed to disagree.

Still, he stood by his comments and said he would be going live today (May 31st) to dive deeper into his comments.

While he’s not backing down, he received lots of backlash for his thoughts, including from journalist Soledad O’Brien.
