R. Kelly’s Ex, Azriel Clary, Sends Birthday Wishes To Joycelyn Savage, Blames R. Kelly For Their Explosive Fight: He Made You Turn On Me!

Azriel Clary, 22, one of singer R. Kelly‘s ex-girlfriends took to Instagram to reminisce and celebrate the birthday of his girlfriend Joycelyn Savage, 23.  In the videos shared on her stories, Azriel Clary took a trip down memory lane and shared with her viewers that this time last year, she and Joycelyn Savage spent her birthday together. It appears that the two are still not communicating since their brawl in R. Kelly’s former residence in the Trump Tower in Chicago as they were moving out of it back in January. Their altercation happened on Azriel Clary‘s Instagram Live and the subsequent video clips from the incident went viral.

Despite this, Azriel Clary shared fond memories of the two celebrating Joycelyn Savage’s birthday. She wrote,

“wow. your last birthday we spent it together. I remember I lied to you & said I was going to talk to the attorneys but really went down to Michigan to get you as many things as I could in under 1 hour.”

Azriel went on to say that she loves Joycelyn despite their differences:

“I know we had our differences, but in my heart I will always love you, and I know I gave you tough love but I just wanted you to know your worth.”

One of the most interesting messages Azriel shared was the caption of a photo of the two of them posing and smiling together saying that the day that they fought, she had not come with the intention to get physical. In the post, she also alleged that R. Kelly instigated their feud by separating them on purpose.

FYI- the day we fought I did NOT want or come to fight joy. I solely came to make her come home, he purposely had us separated and made her stay at a hotel. I texted her after 9 PM exactly after text begging her to realize her worth.. specifically AFTER he went on lockdown for the night. But the next morning, he told her to do what she needed to do, and she was nothing but aggressive. And I knew that sam aggression he would put in us together to make us turn against our parents and friend, and it broke my heart to see him make you turn on me.. and the ONLY reason I began recording is because Joy was already recording me and I said since your gonna record me I’m gonna record you and show how manipulated you are and how you need to get your own backbone and believe in yourself

Azriel says that although they did go out to celebrate Joycelyn‘s birthday at the time, they didn’t really enjoy themselves. She also says that she did try her hardest to make both of them smile during the birthday outing.

“we went out, dressed up alone & couldn’t even enjoy the night because we felt we were doing something wrong…sneaky, or disloyal..

we were so depressed and I did any and everything to make us smile, even if I knew we’d probably get in trouble.. how could we get in trouble with someone in jail.. smh.. we were entirely too loyal to someone who did not deserve it, and took advantage of the genuine in us.”

Azriel went on to encourage her former friend from a distance by saying she deserved to live her own life and reminding her that she loves her:

“you deserve to live your life, not in the shadow of someone else’s.

love you! And one day you’ll realize for yourself. Hope you wished for something good.”

After this, Azriel went back to reminiscing and shared more about the celebration, including a surprise visit to Six Flags:

“yallllll. I ordered cockroaches and hid them. I swear I just loved making us laugh. I just wanted to be happy as much as possible. (Sorry this is when we were in the process of moving.)

I told you I had a surprise for you and drove us all the way to 6 flags. you was so scared because you don’t like water, and I couldn’t stop laughing because you pushed all your weight into me.”
