NeNe Leakes Posts Cryptic Messages on Twitter: If I Have To Stand Alone I Will!

Real Housewives of Atlanta veteran NeNe Leakes took to her twitter and posted a couple of cryptic tweets amid her ongoing contractual negotiations with Bravo. NeNe Leakes wrote,

“If I have to stand alone I WILL”

She also wrote another cryptic tweet stating,

“I’m READY! U hav tried to lessen me & make me insignificant for the last few years! That ends NOW! wanna talk publicly or privately? #igotthedreamteam”

It’s unclear who NeNe is directing the tweets towards, but as we recently reported, the RHOA star has been dealing with some contract issues with Bravo and addressed the situation on her IG live,

Every single season, when it ends- for at least he last three to four seasons – I’ve been dealing with this. Going back and forth? It’s not me; it’s them. I know a lot of people think it’s me. [They say,] ‘NeNe holds out ’til the last minute…’ A negotiation does take time, but I cannot move their pens any faster than they move them themselves…there’s so much issues with NeNe…one of the issues we have addressed that one side said to my side is, ‘She calls herself a queen- the HBIC. And, quite frankly, we are tired of hearing that.’ Well, I am a queen. I am Gregg’s queen. I am Brent’s queen. I am Bryson’s queen, and I am a Black queen. So, you won’t be not hearing that anytime soon…I wonder did Porsha get that same call. ‘Cause I know for two reunions, she has worn a crown. So I wonder if she considers herself a queen.”

NeNe highlighted a contrast between violence between her closet-gate incident and Teresa Giudice from “Real Housewives of New Jersey:”

“Another thing I know was addressed was that I was told that I hit one of the producers, and they could’ve prosecuted me for that if they wanted to. They showed the tape to everybody that was watching. I never hit any producer. It was my camera guy. I grabbed his t-shirt, and his t-shirt tore…I wonder would they prosecute Teresa [Giudice] from [‘Real Housewives of] New Jersey’ when she pushed Andy down at the reunion. Wonder if they had that same conversation with her.”

Lastly, NeNe Leakes says Bravo is using her recent reunion walk-off as a point of contention – adding that she was offered more money when alongside white castmate, Kim Zolciak-Biermann:

“Another thing they addressed was that I closed my computer early at the reunion…I closed my computer early- and rightly so…do you remember season five when all of us girls were talking to Kim about her not wanting to shoot as much?…do your remember she walked out the entire season, and walked into her own show? So I closed my computer, and it’s a big deal. But this other person quit the whole show in the middle of the show, and got her own show…you need to make it make sense, you know what I’m sayin’? I was offered a $100,000 development deal for my own show…after working here for all these years. When they offered me to do ‘Road to Riches’ with Kim, they offered me a million dollars. You know what that reminds me of?…Remember Netflix offered her [Mo’Nique] like $500,000 and all of these other comics or talents…tens of millions of dollars? That’s what that really feels like.”

NeNe also got into some drama with RHOA newcomer LaToya Ali after the Canadian YouTuber claimed that NeNe was the cause for her aunt losing her job on the Shopping Newtork in Toronto,

“Nene, you lack empathy for black women. As a result of your “diva” behavior my aunt lost her contract in Toronto because of your comments towards black women, leaving a black woman’s job in jeopardy. Remember when you appeared on the shopping channel?”

In response, NeNe Leakes simply reposted the comment of someone who appeared to have more knowledge of the incident. That woman wrote,

“that’s incorrect Latoya. Your aunt lost her contract because she came in on a date that she wasn’t scheduled as a guest and waited outside of Nene’s dressing room for most of the day, essentially stalking her. Then she came and borrowed clothing from the collection to wear and take pictures with Nene. She wasn’t authorized to do any of that and technically shouldn’t have even been in the building at all. I worked for the network at the time and was Styling that show. Your aunt acted unprofessionally period. Don’t put out false information. I have respect for you, but that’s not what happened at all.”

NeNe appeared to be pleased with the tweet and added,

“Looks like my Canadian peeps from the channel is speaking out! Oh check out Ladiesofsuccessmiami.com and the women entrepreneur factory #blm #bbm #wepowerfulinnumbers”
