Iman Shumpert Swoons Over Teyana Taylor’s Post-Delivery Body ‘Not One Stretch Mark!’ Later Clarifies Comment

NBA shooting guard Iman Shumpert’s salute to his wife Teyana Taylor’s body ended with him clarifying his comments.

Teyana Taylor gave birth to their second child, Rue, earlier this week.

On September 9, Iman Shumpert, 30 posted to his Instagram story:

“I searched Teyana body at least three times after Rue got here… not one stretch mark… sound the alarm lol. That dirty 30 gone be turn!!!”

He later suggested he received criticism for the comment and added:

“There was some confusion in my dms about the “stretch mark” comment. I didn’t say there was something wrong with them. Nor did I mean for that to be a one up.”

He continued:

“I was a 12 lb 4 oz baby that my mom had naturally, I know what carrying a baby does to a woman’s body… I just was stating that my wife still has none. To those women that do have “beauty marks” from their child, I hope your man kisses every one of them to thank you for the children you brought into this world. Love is love.”

Iman Shumpert posted a video clip, showing his followers a peek at the pair’s baby girl and shared the story of how she was born. In his caption, he reveals baby Rue was born the day after Teyana Taylor’s baby shower and was also delivered in the couple’s bathroom, just like her big sister Iman (Junie) Shumpert.
