Rick Ross Slams Tory Lanez Over Megan Thee Stallion Lyrics: Poor Decision Brother + Tory Reacts

Rapper Rick Ross took issue with Tory Lanez addressing that fateful night where fellow rapper  Megan Thee Stallion was shot. Tory Lanez latest album, “The New Toronto 3,” was released late Thursday night (September 24).

Tory Lanez teased the 17-track release hours before on Twitter and wrote:

“To my fans … I’m sorry for my silence …. but respectfully .. I got time today …… 9 PM PST”

Reports of Megan Thee Stallion being shot after a dispute initially made headlines in July.

She later named Tory Lanez as the shooter on Instagram and said:

Yes…Tory shot me. You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people [telling] these blogs, lyin’ and s**t. Stop lyin’!

Now, Rick Ross has voiced his criticism for Tory’s latest move. He said in a video:

“Tory Lanez, poor decision brother. Dropping that project. Just out of respect for Breonna Taylor. We gotta respect these sisters. That ain’t how you address the accusations, you [face] them with the sister. That was a poor choice homie. You ain’t getting no money for that…”

He then showed a mini car and said it was Tory Lanez, joking that his album went “double acrylic” on DatPiff.

Tory responded to Rick Ross on Twitter shortly after.

“I respect u 2 much as a black man to disrespect you in these times,however I went out and marched 9 DAYS STRAIT for Breonna Taylor ..IN YOUR CITY …I didn’t see the “boss” out there once ?…also stop tagging your endorsements in post about her . It’s a poor decision @RickRoss”

The rapper and WingStop entrepreneur responded to Tory‘s tweet with another video and accused him of not actually participating in protests related to the Breonna Taylor incident. Rick alleged that Tory only happened to be at the protest because it happened outside of his apartment.
