Original Story: Friends and family of former WNBA player Cappie Pondexter, are concerned for her safety and whereabouts after she reportedly went missing following her release from jail.

There have been conflicting reports on Cappie’s arrest on battery charges and release in Los Angeles, thus leaving some social media fans of the basketball star confused. The last reported information was that the star was arrested Tuesday, Oct. 6, and released today, Oct. 9.
The union for the WNBA posted their concerns on Twitter and fans responded.

Lyndsey D’Arcangelo, a writer for the WNBA posted an update on the Cappie Pondexter that a missing report had been filed according to a close friend and assistant to Cappie.


According to journalist Gillian Brassil, Cappie’s loved ones are concerned for her mental state.
