Tyra Banks Reveals ‘Coyote Ugly’ Sequel Or Series May Be On The Way
20 years after the box office success “Coyote Ugly,” Tyra Banks says that it may be coming back as a sequel or a series.
During a guest appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Tyra Banks and Kelly Clarkson swapped stories about their abilities of dancing, or lack thereof when Kelly mentioned that Tyra danced well in the movie “Coyote Ugly.” Tyra responded,
“Oh that’s so funny. You know what, I literally am supposed to be on a conference call today about bringing “Coyote Ugly” back.”
The former supermodel and host of Dancing with the Stars continued on saying,
“Yes so Maria Bello…what up Maria Bello! One of the stars of “Coyote Ugly”. Um, we were supposed to be on a call today and I’m talking to you and I can’t talk to them but it’s fine because I’m talking to them right now.”

Tyra continued on, revealing
“Yes we were talking about trying to do “Coyote Ugly 2″ or a series.”
The original film, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Chad Oman, starred Piper Perabo, John Goodman,Tyra Banks and Maria Bello, and follows Violet Sanford on the pursuit of her dreams of becoming a songwriter in New York City. Trying to make ends meet, she finds herself a bartending job at the Coyote Ugly local bar.
