Rapper Freeway Mourns The Loss Of His Son: This Is A Pain Like I Never Felt [CONDOLENCES]
Sad news coming from rapper Freeway (real name Leslie Edward Pridgen) as he is currently mourning the loss of his son.
The State Property rapper took to his Instagram on Thursday (Oct. 29) paying tribute to his late son Jihad, 19.
This makes the second loss of one of the group’s members’ children. State Property member Oschino’s son recently passed away in a car accident earlier this month.

Freeway, who was formally signed to Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella Records, said in an Instagram post:
“God knows I try my best to be strong, but this right here is a pain like I never felt. Please cherish your time and your love ones because we’re not promise the next breath. I Pray Allah forgives my son for all Of his sins and I pray that Allah grants him the highest level of paradise. Ameen ? Please make dua for him & my family.”

Jihad also followed in in his father’s footsteps, as a rapper going by the stage name SNOWHADD.
No word on what caused his death.

Last year, Freeway used his platform to provide updates to fans about his ongoing battle with kidney failure, while also making fans conscious of health-related conditions which could happen to anyone.

Sending love and light to Freeway and his family during this hard time.
