Floyd Mayweather Is Reportedly Engaged To His Girlfriend Anna Monroe

Update #2 (Jan. 22nd): Floyd Mayweather has denied reports that he is engaged to his new girlfriend, Anna Monroe. 

He denied the rumors on Instagram, writing:

“I’m not engaged and have never been engaged or married, those are just rumors and lies.”

Original Story (Jan. 21st): Floyd Mayweather could be ready to settle down. According to reports, 43-year-old Floyd Mayweather is engaged to his 29-year-old girlfriend Anna Monroe. Floyd Mayweather and Anna Monroe went public with their relationship at the start of this year. However, it’s speculated that the pair started dating a while before they confirmed their relationship. Neither Floyd Mayweather nor Anna Monroe has confirmed or denied the engagement rumors. But, Anna Monroe did post a picture to her Instagram account rocking a large ring on her wedding finger.

According to The Sun, a source close to the couple claims they want to have a baby as soon as possible. The source said,

“Floyd was annoyed at first that news of their relationship broke because he wanted to keep it private. They had an argument about it but soon made up.”

The source continued,

“And then he decided to pop the question on Saturday, Anna has told family and friends she’s getting married and wants to have a baby with Floyd this year.”

The source also said,

“[Anna Monroe]’s family and friends have had their concerns about the relationship but she’s an adult, it’s her decision and they want her to be happy.”
