Khloe Kardashian & Tristan Thompson’s Plans For Another Baby Were Put On Hold Because Of COVID-19, Reality Star Reveals
Concerts and festivals weren’t the only things put on pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Khloe Kardashian revealed in a recent interview that she and her boyfriend Tristan Thompson’s plans to have a second child were also pushed back because of the coronavirus.
She said on the digital series Lady Parts,
“I actually have done IVF about three different times. froze my eggs once already, and when I was ready to make embryos with Tristan, I was making embryos.”
Sadly, she added that “none of [the defrosted eggs] survived.”
She continued,
“I’m so grateful that I decided to make embryos. I’m 36, but as young as I am, what if I was 40 and then my eggs aren’t as healthy, so then I’d have to do IVF again to make embryos, and we realized my eggs aren’t strong enough to be frozen. They should be mixed immediately with sperm to make embryos.”
Khloe Kardashian said the pandemic postponed her plans even further.
“My plan was to have kids closer in age, but now with COVID and everything, my plans been a little delayed.”
But she hasn’t given up hope as she said,
“I definitely do want more children.”
She concluded,
“I think it’s such a blessing, especially during these times, to have a family member or people you can play with and rely on and just have a buddy through life.”
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson share daughter True Thompson, who turns two next month. They also spoke on having more children on E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
