Chet Hanks’ Ex Kiana Parker Sues Him For $1 Million, Alleges He Threatened To Shoot Her & Was Physically Abusive
The ex-girlfriend of Chet Hanks is continuing her claims of physical abuse against him in a $1 million lawsuit.
Kiana Parker has officially filed a lawsuit against the son of award-winning actor Tom Hanks for assault and battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress Tuesday (April 13th).
She shared a photo of herself on the steps of the Fort Bend Justice Center in Richmond, TX with the caption,
“This is the first step on a long road to justice. Only looking forward, no looking back .

Her lawyers, D’Angelo Lowe and Kevin Murray, held a press conference at the justice center as well. Lowe alleged Chet Hanks was a “clear and present danger” to Kiana Parker, adding:
“This is about violence within the confines of a relationship between a man and a woman, a man who mentally and physically and psychologically battered Kiana Parker.”
He continued,
“If this were a Black man that committed these same violent acts towards a white woman or a Black woman, for that matter, Chet Hanks would’ve been charged right now.”
He referenced Chet’s recent call for a “White Boy Summer” and said,
“Instead, he has not been charged and has made a mockery of Black women in the criminal justice system by proclaiming that it’s going to be a ‘white boy summer’ and a ‘Black queen summer’ while knowing he mentally and physically abused a Black queen. We want justice for Kianna Parker.”

In her affidavit, Kiana Parker, who was recently granted a temporary protective order against Chet, alleges he was physically abusive during a trip to New Orleans last October. He was in the city to film Your Honor for Showtime. They had a dispute when Parker claims he “grabbed me by the wrist forcefully pulled me into him telling me we were going back to the [hotel] room.”
She added that once in the room Chet allegedly “became aggressive and hostile about what transpired earlier [and] started harassing me verbally and forcefully shoving me.”
She said when she tried to leave, Chet “threw a bottle at me” and “began to grab me and drag me away from the door.”
She detailed another alleged incident that happened in December 2020 at their Sugar Land, Texas home. She said back then, he allegedly threatened to shoot her; her twin sons, 9, were there at the time. She said she was afraid for them and took them to her mother’s home and hid Chet’s gun.
She ultimately told him she wanted to break up with him, causing him to allegedly become “verbally abusive and threatening.” Once they both agreed to a split on Jan. 6, she began staying in a hotel.
But things allegedly escalated again on Jan. 8, 2021 when she went to the home to get her things. She claimed Chet was “extremely aggressive”, followed her around the home, and was “hostile” to her. She alleged he grabbed a knife and lunged toward her. That’s when she “picked up a pot and swung it in the air in front of me” before she left. She said in her affidavit that she tried to capture the incident on her phone, but Chet “wrestled and pulled up Parker’s arms in an attempt to get the phone that had recorded his violent outburst.”
The affidavit alleged he “kicked Parker’s legs and caused her to fall as he dragged her across the pavement.”
That incident was caught on tape.

Chet previously sued Parker for theft, assault, conversion, and battery. He accused her of stealing “money from him to pay for her travel expenses and travel expenses for her friend” and to pay rent.
His lawyer, Marty Singer, said of the lawsuit against him, according to The Daily Beast,
“We consider the claims filed by Kiana Parker to be a shakedown… Her claims are completely false, fabricated and fictional.”
Singer said of the Jan. 8 incident,
“The day after Chet Hanks confronted Kiana Parker about stealing money from his credit card, while Ms. Parker was accompanied by a huge male carrying a gun, she viciously attacked Chet with a knife, which caused him to profusely bleed. It is all on video and the undisputed video tells the whole story. Her claims are completely false, fabricated and fictional.”
