Kelly Rowland Says Beyoncé & Michelle Williams Saw Her Give Birth Via Zoom
Zoom has been useful for many during the pandemic–and this includes Kelly Rowland. She was able to celebrate the joy of childbirth with a virtual Destiny’s Child reunion over the app!
Recently, Kelly Rowland gave birth to her second son, Noah Jon. While speaking to PeopleTV, she revealed that she was surrounded by loved ones for her second encounter with labor and delivery–and this included Beyoncé and Michelle Williams! Beyoncé‘s mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, was also present on the Zoom call, along with Kelly Rowland‘s mother-in-law.

Speaking on the experience, the “Motivation” singer stated that her Destiny’s Child “sisters” witnessed Noah’s birth, adding,
“We had our family join on Zoom. They were able to see Noah come into the world. It was beautiful.”
Kelly also commented on how Beyoncé and Michelle Williams are in their auntie roles, claiming:
“[They are] awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome.”
Kelly also mentions that her former group-mates were sure to visit greet her son in person, stating:
“They met him immediately.”
Beyoncé and Michelle Williams were able to meet their new nephew in person shortly after.
Speaking on the moment, Kelly stated:
“The girls were literally over here at the house just recently and when they met the baby, it was like another part of my heart just… being able to share space with Michelle and Bey is truly a gift.”
She continued,
“And I’m just so grateful for them and they are a highlight of my life. Not professionally, but our friendship and our sisterhood”
In addition to newborn Noah Jon, Kelly also has an older son named Titan Jewell with her husband, Tim Witherspoon.
