Kanye West ‘Has Not Decided’ If He’ll Run Again In The 2024 Presidential Election
Kanye West appears to be indecisive about running for President again. As previously reported, Kanye West announced his 2020 presidential campaign via Twitter on July 4 of last year. His announcement came only 122 days before the official election day. Kanye West ran under the “Birthday Party” and made headlines following one of his campaign rallies when he alleged Harriet Tubman “never actually freed the slaves.” Kanye qualified for ballot access in only 12 states and ultimately conceded to Joe Biden.

Following his loss, Kanye Tweeted out an image of himself standing in front of a map of America and seemingly shared that he had plans to run again in 2024. However, it’s now looking like the ‘Stronger’ rapper isn’t so sure.

According to a letter obtained by Fox News and issued to the Federal Election Commission (FEC), Kanye responded to a Request for Further Information (RFAI) in which his team notes that his 2020 committee that prompted the request is exploratory. The letter reads,
“Kanye West has not decided whether to become a candidate for president in the 2024 election. And that the activity of the Kanye 2020 committee that prompted this RFAI is strictly exploratory.”
The letter also mentions that Kanye is refusing to file any further paperwork on the issue until he fully figures out his candidacy.
