K. Michelle Tweets ‘I’m Just Pretty, Get Over It’ After Going Viral For Her Appearance

Update #2 (June 11th): K. Michelle has a message after going viral for what many fans thought was a new look.

She took to Twitter with a fresh-face selfie and wrote Thursday (June 10th),

“I’m just pretty. Get over it”

She followed up with a second post earlier today (June 11th) and wrote,

“Good Morning! Who said whaaaa??? The shade of it all Smile it scares people”

Original Story (June 10th): R&B singer K. Michelle recently showed the world her new look–and people can’t get over how different the star appears!

Yesterday (Wednesday, June 9th), K. Michelle shared a series of selfies on Instagram to flaunt a pink wig. In the first post, the artist wrote:

“Today you can call me Pinky [insert double-heart emoji]”

Shortly thereafter, K. Michelle uploaded another selfie to announce her upcoming show in Little Rock, Arkansas. Her full caption is:

“I took some time off to live with myself. Excited to be back and on track. First show back July 2 in Little Rock Arkansas [sic]. What songs y’all want on the set list this year?????”

Simultaneously, the artist also shared her new look to her Twitter account.

After K. Michelle uploaded her photos, fans began sharing their thoughts! Specifically, many claimed they were initially unable to recognize the singer and Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star.
