Fat Joe Appears To React To Cuban Link’s Claims That He’s A Snitch: When They Hate Don’t Work They Start Telling Lies

Update #1: It looks like Fat Joe is addressing Cuban Link’s accusations that he’s a snitch. Just hours after Cuban Link’s remarks about Fat Joe went viral, the Lean Back rapper shared a cryptic post. It reads,

“When the HATE don’t work they start telling lies”

Original Story: Is Fat Joe a snitch?

Yesterday (Wednesday, Aug. 25th), Cuban Link accused Fat Joe of being a snitch through a series of Instagram uploads. Despite both being founding members of the Terror Squad hip-hop collective, the pair has had a long-standing feud stemming from the early 2000s.

The first upload was a clip from Troi Torain‘s podcast, The Star Report. In the video, Troi Torain–who’s also known as STAR–says:

“I need someone, some type of expert, somebody from New York. I’ve got some paperwork, I don’t know if it’s official or not. Is Fat Joe a snitch? Fat Joe can get that smoke on this flight. Don’t get it f***ed up–he and I have been cool over the years. My good friend, who is an honorary Terror Squad member, Miguel Candelaria. Only reason I’m not gonna give Joe that smoke right now and post this paperwork is because I’m not sure if it’s official or not. Somebody help me out before I put this up in the community section because you know I don’t give a f**k. It’s got Fat Joe’s government name all on this, the n***a’s talking about who killed somebody. Say it ain’t so, Joe. Say it ain’t so.”

Cuban Link captioned the clip:

“Exhibit A–the paperwork is in…. Fat joe exposed on snitching charges .. big shout out to star for reporting the truth and keeping it 100 percent across the board!!! Now you might understand why I couldn’t get along with that animal but I guess let’s wait for the authenticity of this here paperwork.. but like I said I’m just gonna sit back and watch the pale beluga get Brought in to shore by the rest of the fishermen @troitorain.”

Cuban Link then uploaded the paperwork Troi Torain spoke about during his podcast. The document–referred to as a “snitch report”–suggests that Fat Joe, born Joseph Cartagena, shared information involving two murders. There also appears to be some discussion about people’s gang affiliations as well.

Fat Joe has not publicly responded to the allegations.
