Donald Glover Seemingly Accuses Kanye West Of Copying Him For ‘Donda’ Artwork: I Love Being Influential
Donald Glover is seemingly accusing Kanye West’s ‘Donda’ album cover of being copied from his artwork for a previous Childish Gambino album cover. After much anticipation and three listening parties, Kanye West’s tenth studio album ‘Donda’ was finally released on Aug. 29. It has barely been a full day since the album officially dropped and the drama has already started. Since ‘Donda’s’ release, a few celebrities have come forward sharing their issues with Kanye West and the album. Recently Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino) joined them and threw a bit of shade at Kanye West over the ‘Donda’ cover artwork.
Fans pointed out on Twitter that Kanye West’s album cover for ‘Donda’ appears to have a similar theme to Donald Glover’s 2020 album cover ‘3.15.20.’ Both artists went with a very simple theme for their album’s cover art. Donald Glover’s cover art is a grey-toned square and Kanye West’s is a black-tone square.
Donald Glover seemingly addressed the observation and tweeted,
“I love being influential”
This is currently the only tweet sent out from Donald Glover’s Twitter account on the comparison.
