Nene Leakes Breaks Silence On Social Media After Gregg Leakes’ Passing, Shares Sweet Memory Of Them Dancing
Nene Leakes is remembering the good times she and her husband, Gregg Leakes, shared before he tragically died of colon cancer.
As previously reported, the family’s publicist and friend Ernest Dukes released a statement on their behalf and said Wednesday (Sept. 1):
“Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart. After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife Nene Leakes. We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family & allow them to mourn in private during this very very difficult time.”
Since then, celebrities and Nene Leakes’ former The Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars have showered social media with love and prayers.
Now, Nene Leakes is sharing a special moment she and her late husband enjoyed.
Earlier today (Sept. 2), she posted footage of them dancing together. She kept the caption simple with red heart and broken-heart Emojis.
