Spice Girls Call It Quits, AGAIN! Plans For 2023 Reunion Tour & Animated Movie “Shelved”
Spice Girls Reportedly Call It Quits, AGAIN! Plans For 2023 Reunion Tour & Animated Movie “Shelved”
Looks like the Spice Girls won’t be spicing up our lives anytime soon.
Recent reports suggest that iconic British pop group the Spice Girls will focus on personal endeavors instead of pursuing much anticipated 2023 reunion tour and animated movie.

Spice Girls
Back in May of 2019, Wannabe singers and mega-star girl group the Spice Girls shook fans worldwide as they reunited for Spice World, the bands first reunion since their 2012 Summer Olympics performance.
The one month tour, which took place without fashionista Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), was held in the U.K. and saw almost 700,000 fans and grossed over $78 million dollars. Following the success of Spice World, it was reported that music mogul Simon Fuller and longtime manager of the group would be producing an animated film that would feature all 5 of the Spice Girls members. This would be the superstars second movie, the first being Spice World, which was a box office hit in it’s 1997 release.
Now, recent reports claim that the Covid-19 pandemic has slowed momentum for a 2023 reunion tour, and plans for the animated film have been “shelved” – stating the Spice Girl members are taking time to focus on individual ventures instead.
An insider on the matter reports:
“It was going brilliant — but Covid killed the momentum. Now it’s done again. There’s nothing on the agenda and they’re focusing on their own things.”
Amid speculation, Emma B (Baby Spice) took to her instagram account to post a picture with Spice Girl members Mel B (Scary Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), and Mel C (Sporty Spice) with the caption:
“Hanging out with my Spice sisters, always the best days.”
While Emma B’s post may suggest that the 4 Spice Girl members may in fact be working on something together, there have been no official statements from the Spice Girl members on the reunion tour or the movie.
