Tisha Campbell-Martin Files Police Report In Ongoing Attempted Kidnapping Investigation
Tisha Campbell-Martin is making strides in her alleged attempted kidnapping investigation.
Actress Tisha Campbell-Martin made headlines late last month after posting a frantic video to her Instagram page where she says two men in a taxi tried to kidnap her for human trafficking. After much speculation surrounding the location of the ordeal, the My Wife and Kids actress has officially filed a police report to further progress in the investigation.

After Martin star Tisha Campbell-Martin warned her Instagram followers to be aware of their surroundings post an attempted kidnapping scare, many commenters urged the actress to disclose the location of the incident to alert others specifically in the area. In her video, the 53-year old film and television star did not initially state where the incident took place. However she did state that she was filming for an upcoming project – leading media outlets to report that the incident happened in Brownsville, Texas.

In response to growing media circulation, the Brownsville PD said they would launch a full investigation into the matter. Days later, Brownsville PD issued a statement stating that after investigating they could not validate Tisha Campbell – Martin’s kidnapping claims, nor could they confirm that she was even staying in Brownsville during the time of the incident.

At the same time of Brownsville PD’s statement release, a local news station in Brownsville reported that a representative for Tisha confirmed that the incident did not happen in Brownsville, but in the neighboring town of South Padre Island, Texas.
Now reports claim that on Monday (February 7th), Tisha officially filed a police report on the incident in order to move forward in finding her alleged attempted kidnappers.
