Tory Lanez Doubles Down On His Innocence In Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Case, Says: They Used This Narrative To Separate Black Women From Black Men

Following a day of anger fueled social media exchanges, Tory Lanez says the documents proving his innocence in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting case are indeed real and in his possession, despite Megan’s disputes.

Yesterday (February 23rd), was supposed to be the pre-trial hearing against 29-year-old hip-hop artist Tory Lanez for allegedly shooting rapper Megan Thee Stallion in the foot July of last year.

Before the trial commenced, music and culture commentator DJ Akademiks prematurely released a now deleted statement via Twitter, alleging:

“It was revealed in court that Tory’s DNA was not found on the gun connected to Megan Thee Stallion shooting.”

This statement prompted a response from Megan, who confirmed that court was actually pushed back until April, and stated there was no way anyone could have verified such a document existed. The conversation erupted into a heated exchange involving Megan, her boyfriend Pardi Fontaine, Akademiks, as well as Tory Lanez, who took to his Twitter account today to reassert his claims that the documents do in fact exist.

Via tweet, Tory responded to a reporter for Page Six and The New York Post, who reported that the documents verifying his DNA was not found at the crime scene don’t exist.

The reporter writes:

“FAKE NEWS ALERT: Any reports of Tory Lanez’s DNA not being found on the weapon in the Megan Thee Stallion case are FALSE. Today’s pre-trial hearing was just postponed to April 5 and that fake news tweet was sent out before the hearing even started.

To which Tory responded:

“How they false if I’m looking at them .”

Tory continues by following up with a tweet suggesting there is a false narrative being used to separate the black man from the black woman.

He writes:

“They used this narrative to separate black women from black men. They made it so the protection of a black women suddenly meant the unprotecting of black man….. Funny cuz it was right when for the first time we were all somewhat standing together for the same cause .”

According to Megan, the pre-trial hearing was pushed until April 5th, at which time more details surrounding the DNA results in questions are set to be presented.
