Candace Owens Says ‘Russian Lives Matter’ As She Shows Support In Russia’s Invasion Of Ukraine

Conservative commentator Candace Owens has been very vocal in her support of Russia’s invasion on Ukraine! Now, the 32-year-old talk show host is taking it up a notch. In a recent tweet, Candace Owens  expressed that Russians are being treated badly and are facing discrimination while also taking a dig at the Black Lives Matter movement. Owens said,

“Absolutely appalling the way Russians are being treated in America and abroad. That our leaders and government institutions are allowing for—and at times calling for this discrimination following their global “black lives matter” hysteria is quite telling.”

She ends with,

“Russian Lives Matter”

Many social media users were appalled at Candace Owens’ remarks, some saying she is spreading Russian propaganda, while others called her out for speaking negatively about Black Lives Matter but showing major support to the Russians. See reactions below:

Last month, at the start of the Russia/ Ukraine turmoil, Owens suggested that the U.S. and NATO are “at fault” for Russian President Vladimir Putin’s threat to invade Ukraine. She took to social media to criticize America’s involvement in Russia and Ukraine’s conflict. Owen’s wrote,

“I suggest every American who wants to know what’s *actually* going on in Russia and Ukraine, read this transcript of Putin’s address. As I’ve said for month— NATO (under direction from the United States) is violating previous agreements and expanding eastward. WE are at fault.”
