President Joe Biden & VP Kamala Harris – New Book Reveals Ongoing Tension Between Them + Alleges First Lady Jill Biden Never Wanted Kamala To Be Joe’s Running Mate: “Why Do We Have To Choose The One Who Attacked Joe?”
Things may not be going so good in the White House.
According to a new book, inside sources claim there has been ongoing tension between President Joe Biden’s camp and Vice President Kamala Harris’s camp since taking office. The book also makes accusations that First Lady Jill Biden was initially not in support of Kamala being Joe’s running mate.

Kamala Harris speaks to Joe Biden
New York Time’s authors Jonathan Martin and Alex Burns are releasing a tell all book detailing alleged frustrations going on in the White House. The book titled, This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future, will reportedly cover a reporter account of the 2020 election and events that took place during first year of the Biden presidency specifically.

Reportedly, there has been an ongoing blame game happening over VP Kamala Harris’s poor approval ratings and underwhelming actions since taking office. The book claims that Joe’s communications director Kate Bedingfield, heavily criticized Kamala’s previous roles in politics, and cited that as the reason for her low approval stating:
“Her Senate office had been messy and her presidential campaign had been a fiasco. Perhaps, she suggested, the problem was not the vice president’s staff.”
Kate later publicly denied this accusation. The book also touches on Kamala feeling let down by impossible policy she’s been given by the Biden camp. The book’s writers stating:
“One senator close to her, describing Harris’s frustration level as ‘up in the stratosphere,’ lamented that Harris’s political decline was a ‘slow-rolling Greek tragedy. Her approval numbers were even lower than Biden’s, and other Democrats were already eyeing the 2024 race if Biden declined to run.”
Additionally, the writers suggest that while Joe and Kamala are “friendly”, they lack:
“A real depth of personal and political intimacy.”
Another surprising reveal of the book, alleges that First Lady Jill Biden had previously voiced reservations about bringing Kamala into the Biden campaign. On the matter, the authors write:
“Speaking in confidence with a close adviser to her husband’s campaign, the future First lady posed a pointed question. There are millions of people in the United States, she began. Why, she asked, do we have to choose the one who attacked Joe?”

A representative for Jill stated that while many books recounting events of the Biden presidency will be released, not all stories will be accurate. The rep also states that the first lady nor anyone from the Biden or Harris camp plans to respond to allegations from the book.
