Cardi B Fires Back At Social Media Users Who Claim She Stole Nicki Minaj’s Latest Song & Video Idea: If Y’all See How The F*ck I Did My Sh*t, I Always Been Doing Videos Like This!
Cardi B seemingly addressed accusations of stealing Nicki Minaj’s latest song and music video concept.
In an Instagram post, Cardi said:
“Let me tell y’all something. Cause I hate…I be tryin’ to be nice, I be tryin’ to keep peaceful, but y’all not gonna keep f*ckin’ playing me. Let me tell y’all something, look at the dates right here, y’all see that right? Y’all see that sh*t says Feb. 25. That’s when Kay Flock’s manager sent me [this song snippet]. Y’all see that right? That’s Feb. 25, cause y’all be tryin’ to…y’all be actin’ like I be moving on people’s time, but I move on Cardi B’s timing.”
She continued:
“Now y’all see the dates right here, let me make it really nice and clear for you, now y’all see that it’s Mar. 15. Now, here’s Cardi’s vocals. That’s a little rough…that’s Mar. 15. Ima put this screenshot because y’all love to play with me. Now, Ima send y’all when I asked Kay Flock’s manager, ‘when is Dougie B in LA, I mean New York,’ because we were both in LA working.”

She went on:
“Because, at the end of the day, Cardi B was working, Cardi B was rehearsing for a movie, Cardi B was doing Facebook, Cardi B even had to go to Europe for a deal. So, I don’t understand why y’all be tryin’ to make it seem like, ‘what.’ And, second of all, don’t even try to motherf*cking play me because, let me tell you something, if y’all seen my videos ‘Red Bars,’ if y’all seen my sh*t ‘Pull Up on Me,’ if y’all see how the f*ck I did my sh*t, I always been doing videos like this.”
The New York native proceeded to share screencaps of text messages, DMs, and comparisons of her videos throughout the years.

When footage and stills from Cardi’s upcoming drill collaboration with fellow rappers Dougie B and Kay Flock surfaced, some internet users pointed out similarities to Nicki Minaj’s latest project.
According to several posts, both rap stars returned to their east coast roots and used a drill beat for their new singles.
Nicki Minaj appeared to be working on a music video for a feature with Fivio Foreign.
