Nipsey’s suspected killer, Eric Holder, who was 29 at the time, was arrested and charged with murder on April 2, 2019. Holder had grown up in the same area and associated with the same crowd as Nipsey. According to reports, when Nipsey allegedly told Holder he would become known as a “snitch,” it is suspected Holder fired 10 shots at the rapper, striking one bullet to his skull and another to his spine, severing it. Holder is still awaiting trial.
Nipsey is survived by 13 year old daughter from a previous relationship, Emani Asghedom and 5 year old son Kross Asghedom with actress Lauren London.
