Da Baby Identified As Shooter Of Intruder At His $2.3 Million North Carolina Mansion
Da Baby (real name Jonathan Kirk) has been revealed as the alleged person who shot an intruder at his $2.3 million North Carolina mansion on Wednesday, April 13.
In a call made to 911, a person can be heard saying,
“I shot him in his leg.”
In response, the dispatcher asks, “OK, and why did you do that?” The person on the other end of the line says,
“He’s trespassing on my property. Calling me by my name. I don’t know what he’s here for. What he’s here to take. What he’s here to do, but he’s shot in his leg [and] he’s neutralized until you guys get here.”
During the call, the intruder can be heard crying in pain from the wound he had sustained. While it has not been confirmed by authorities that Da Baby is the person who dialed 911, it is being reported, considering the circumstances.
A voice said to be Da Baby said the man had to jump over a fence to gain access to his private football field. He urges the operator to “sound their sirens” so he knows to “open the gate” when police and ambulances arrive to render aid and get him off the property.
According to a Facebook post from the Troutman Police Department the night of the shooting, names and circumstances surrounding those involved were unable to be released. The post read,
“On 04/13/2022 at around 1945 hours officers with the Troutman Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at 135 Stillwater Road. Officers arrived on scene where they found one subject suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The subject was transported by Iredell County EMS to a medical facility for treatment.”
While this is said to be an isolated incident, Da Baby has built quite the reputation for how he handles situations with those he views as aggressive or dangerous to him and his family.
