It’s official! Our girl Rihanna is on the list of wealthiest people in the world!
While Rihanna reached a net worth of over $1 billion back in August 2021, Forbes made it official this month by putting the singer turned entrepreneur on its annual list of the richest people in the world. Thanks largely to her stakes in Fenty Beauty as well as her Savage X Fenty lingerie line, RiRi now has a net worth of $1.7 billion. According to Forbes, her Fenty Beauty line “generated more than $550 million in revenue in 2020.”
Reportedly, the 34-year-old mother to be is number 1,729 on the list of richest people in the world–ranking higher than her mentor Jay-Z but under Kanye West who gained much success thanks to his stakes in his Yeezy sneaker collaboration with Adidas. For comparison, Kim Kardashian has a net worth of $1.8 billion, while heavy hitters like Beyoncé and Taylor Swift have yet to crack the billionaire girls’ club.

Last month, it was reported that Rihanna is allegedly in talks to make a major public offering which could increase Savage X Fenty to over $3 billion! A source claims the lingerie company is working with big named banks such as Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Morgan Stanley. The listing could make an appearance by the end of 2022.

Savage X Fenty was founded by Barbadian pop sensation Rihanna in 2018. Since its launch, the brand has gained a large following. Most supporters and consumers admire the fact that the company is all-inclusive. Unlike several traditional brands, Savage X Fenty retails sizes from XS to 4XL.
