Rapper/singer Drake appears to have a few words for fans shortly after releasing his seventh studio album, “Honestly, Nevermind.”
As previously reported, popular musical artist Drake, 35, surprise-released his new project “Honestly, Nevermind” on Friday (June 17). The 14-track album is reportedly dedicated to luxury American fashion designer Virgil Abloh, who died in 2021. The album’s only feature comes from rapper 21 Savage on the closing track, “Jimmy Crooks.”
Following the project’s release, fans began posting mixed reactions to the new album via Twitter. Some social media users expressed their disappointment in the dance album, while others blocked out the critics.

In a posted clip to social media hours after the album dropped, Drake can be heard seemingly referring to reactions about the album. The “God’s Plan” singer explained “it’s all good” if people don’t get it, but they’re “on to the next” one. He said,
“It’s all good if you don’t get it. It’s all good. That’s what we do. That’s what we do. We wait for you to catch up. We’re in here though we caught up already. On to the next. My goodness.”
According to reports, despite the mixed feedback, Drake’s “Honestly, Nevermind” broke Apple Music’s dance album record for most first-day streams. He hit this historic achievement in only an hour.
