P-Valley’s Tyler Lepley Shares How He Got Into Acting: If You Have An Instinct Just Follow It [VIDEO]
“P-Valley” star Tyler Lepley recently shared how he rose to stardom from acting.
On July 7, 35-year-old actor Tyler Lepley uploaded an uplifting video via his IG stories to share how he got his start in the acting industry. In the 30-second clip, Tyler Lepley explains a quote that he lives by, calling the video “Ty’s Two Cents.” Tyler shared:
“It came to me very clear. It reminds me of something I read before. It goes as follows… What is meant for you will arrive in clarity, never confusion. Don’t mix the two.”
He continued:
“[So] If you have an instinct, if you have an incline of something just follow it. If it comes to you clearly, go with it.”
“The Haves and the Have Nots” actor added:
“Don’t worry about the rest. Don’t worry about the peanut gallery. Don’t worry about all that bullsh*t on the outside. That’s how I got here. And then once it comes to you clearly, you gotta invest yourself into it.”
Tyler is best known for his portrayal of Benny on the Tyler Perry produced soap opera “The Haves and the Have Nots”; which is the first scripted television series to air on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
According to reports, Tyler reluctantly took his agent’s advice to get serious about acting and enrolled in acting classes and he soon made his acting debut in an episode of CW’s “90210.”
