Mariah Carey’s Atlanta Mansion Was Reportedly Burglarized While She Was Vacationing W/ Family

Mariah Carey is definitely going to have to up the security on her home in Atlanta, Georgia!

According to reports, while vacationing in Capri, Italy and the Hamptons last month, Mariah Carey’s $5.65-million-dollar pad was burglarized.

Since the investigation is still underway and details are few, the amount of valuables taken is currently unknown.

However, what we do know is that Mariah Carey’s grand abode holds nine bedrooms, thirteen bathrooms, a pool, a tennis court, and a playground, so there’s a strong chance that most of the luxurious palace was ransacked for its treasures. The burglary was reported to police on July 27.

Prior to the robbery, the “We Belong Together” songstress was seen sharing some flicks in Capri.

She also followed up with a photo of herself chilling in her Hamptons rental.

Not too long ago, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Marlo Hampton‘s Sandy Springs residence – located in Georgia – was broken into as well. Four alleged gang members were arrested in connection to fifteen or more celebrity home invasions over the past year, Marlo Hampton’s being one of them.

After seeing the armed men on her security system, Marlo Hampton yelled out and rushed to call 911 before the attackers fled the scene.

She recalled:

“When I heard the boom, when I heard my nephew scream, and I knew that scream was a scream of fear, my heart dropped. I just thank God and we’re covered in the blood of Jesus and I’m here to share this story with you. But my main concern is, I want all the ladies, I want everyone to be aware if you are posting, if you do have luxury items, be careful.”

Of course, as of now, it’s unclear on whether Carey’s break-in was related to that. However, we’re glad to know that everyone is safe and sound.
