Lil Baby’s Artist Dirty Tay Accused Of Shooting A Toddler & His Father In Atlanta: Don’t Bash Me Because Of Allegations
Dirty Tay found himself in legal trouble after being accused of injuring a toddler and his father in a drive-by shooting.

Recently, Lil Baby’s artist Dirty Tay was arrested on Friday (Aug. 19) during a traffic stop. Dirty Tay, born Kentavious Wright, is in Fulton County Jail after being accused of shooting a toddler and his father after they left a barbershop in southwest Atlanta on Wednesday (Aug. 3). The 24-year-old faces charges including criminal attempt to commit murder, aggravated assault, first-degree cruelty to children and multiple gang-related charges.
Reports state that the three-year-old boy and his father left Off The Hook barbershop on Peters street when a Kia conducted a U-turn after passing their car and began to follow them. The Kia eventually pulled alongside their car on the passenger side and opened fire at an intersection. The toddler was rushed to the hospital after being shot in the head and is reportedly fighting to be in stable condition. According to the incident report, the father alleged the suspect fired five shots before driving away.
Authorities released body-camera footage of the rapper’s arrest, which shows officers taking the Atlanta rapper and his girlfriend into custody. The woman was searched and found with a firearm that police say belonged to Tay.
Tay denied his involvement in the shooting on Wednesday (Aug. 24) in a post on his Instagram story. Tay insisted:
“I’m innocent the news is not always right don’t bash me because of allegations.”
