50 Cent’s Former Brand Manager Embezzled Over $2.2 Million From His Company, Ordered To Payback Stolen Funds
One former employee for rap star turned business mogul 50 Cent was ordered to payback the entertainer millions.
Recent court documents revealed that Curtis ‘50 Cent‘ Jackson was awarded over $2 million, after his former brand manager stole millions from his liquor company, Sire Spirits. Reportedly, Mitchell Green admitted to pricing up the already $200 Branson cognac and $150 Le Chemin du Roi (aka The King’s Path) champagne, collecting the excess profit. Reports state that Green pocketed a total of $2.2 million over 2 years in “agency fees”, and is now being ordered to pay up big time.
According to reports, the former Brand Manager faced the threat of being outed after he was extorted by someone who knew of the unlawful scheme. Prompting him to confess his crime. After 50 released Greene from the company, he was taken to arbitration and found liable for the money embezzled.
Green was ordered to pay back the pocketed money to 50’s company, $948,096 to a wholesaler, and another $2.7 million in attorneys fees – totalling to $6.2 million in funds owed.
