Wendy Williams Checks Into Wellness Facility, Rep Shares She’s ‘Taking Some Time To Focus On Her Health’ 

Wendy Williams is doing what’s needed to take care of herself. 

According to reports, famed talk show host Wendy Williams, 58, has checked herself into a wellness facility as she aims to improve her overall health issues. A rep for Wendy Williams shared, 

“She is taking some time to focus on her health and wellness as she prepares for a major comeback for the next level in her career with The Wendy Experience Podcast.” 

They added, 

“Ms. Williams is being treated by a team of some of the best doctors in the world. We ask for your prayers and well wishes during this time.”

Some reports claim that Wendy is being treated for substance abuse. An insider shared, 

“It’s gotten worse. She went from wine to straight-up vodka.”

As previously reported, Wendy’s friends and family expressed concerns for the media personality after she claimed she was now married to an NYPD officer. Last month Wendy announced she was off the market and enjoying life as a married woman. However, her rep come forward and said she isn’t married. They added, 

“She is excited about a new relationship and probably got carried away in conversation.”

After doubling down on her marriage claims, Wendy’s brother shared he’s worried about his sister. He said, 

“She wasn’t getting married last week. I think it’s kind of crazy, and very unnerving.”

Wendy’s latest wellness facility visit comes after Sherri Shepherd’s new talk show premiered. As you may already know, Sherri Shepherd’s show, titled “Sherri,” is the replacement series for the now-canceled “Wendy Williams Show.” Reportedly, show staffers were concerned for Wendy’s well-being because of her “pattern of erratic behavior.” In addition to that, Wendy is dealing with an ongoing legal battle involving Wells Fargo. The bank has locked her out of her accounts under concerns she’s not of sound mind.
